Yer I agree, its not really a logo yet, also if you ever want business cards or a letter head printing from this design you will end up with a very poor end result.

May 26, 200917 yr how can i make it vector? you are probably best off creating your logos in a dedicated vector program such as Adobe's illustrator or the freely available Inkscape.

May 28, 200917 yr Agree on the vector, it is absolutely essential. It is a little short on contrast (will it always be on grey background, will it be printed etc?) But I disagree that every logo need to be "shape" at all costs.

Did you sketch your ideas out first? If you were doing it for a client and charging by the hour, they'd probably expect half a dozen ideas for the time you've spent on it. The best logos are the ones any could draw!
May 29, 200917 yr A really great place to get logo inspiration from is Logo Pond. If you take a browse through those, you will notice that each says something about the company rather than just stating the name and most result in a really good impact on the viewer. Over at Spoon Graphics, Chris Spooner talks about his thought processes when designing a logo. Might be worth a look. Dan
