Adobe Contribute

Featured Replies

Seems to happen now and then on some sites.

I create a connection in Adobe Contribute to a site and test the actual connection and it works fine.

However, when client uses connection it sometimes cant connect to the site - something like "Failed to establish connection. Check your network connection or contact your network administrator"

Like I said the exact same connection works fine for me.

Client can get it site in browser and has disabled firewall just in case.

I have also run the Adobe/Macromedia FTPServerChecker and it passes fine.

Any ideas?? Its all pointing to something on the clients computer / connection. They have tried on a couple different computers.

If you can connect sometimes it would suggest either an ISP or hosting issue, if it was a firewall it would probably never connect.

Can you try connecting using a standalone FTP app on your clients computer to see if you get the same problem?
