April 22, 200917 yr Hi there, I've been in this forum for about a week now and have written a number of posts yet have not got around to introducing myself properly. I'm primarily a .net coder, so looking to help people out in that area, and also get some ideas on the more creative design side. I've also joined to network with fellow designers/coders and to get some links to my own site to increase my search engine rankings. Everyone I've spoken too so far seems nice, and sorry that it took me a good while to introduce myself. Thanks Barry
April 22, 200917 yr Sorry to tell you this but we will never ever forgive you for not introducing yourself first before you started posting...how rude Seriously though: Its nice to know that you are enjoying yourself here, welcome to the mad house Unfortunately you will only get one link to your site on this forum, which will come from your portfolio page, as all other links posted by members are nofollow, so search engines don't class them as backlinks to your site. But some designers are always up for link building and will add your link to their site for a link back to them on yours, and you can get a bit of traffic from here as I usually get around 300/400 unique people per month from this forum to my site.
April 22, 200917 yr Author Thanks for Welcoming me Dizi. I suppose I should have really expected them to contain nofollow, but as you say if I keep active on here, I'm sure I'll get more visitors to my site anyway. Suppose I had better sort my portfolio page out. Thanks for the advice.
