March 25, 200917 yr Hi guys, Got a problem, I'm setting up a zencart site for a printing company, our products will be (for example) posters, available in A0, A1, A2, A3 etc...that fine, I can handle that but, then we will have "custom size" I want to set it up so that a customer will have 2 fields in which they can enter dimensions in cm and calculate a price based on the cost of the material per square metre. Lets say for example our customer chooses "plain paper" as their material, which is £100 per square meter, and they want a poster which is 50cm x 50cm they will be given a price of £50. Does this make sense? Is it possible? What are the options for something like this? Cheers.
April 17, 200917 yr This would need to be done with a bespoke system. The only alternative to bespokely scripting this would be to offer fixed sizes.
