September 25, 200718 yr Hi, People list there Google or Site backlink total when listing info about their website i.e. Unique visitors: 30k Backlinks: 1,500 So how would I work out my backlinks please, as I am very keen to know. DK.
September 27, 200718 yr Good question, I know that when you type into google: link:http://www.yourwebsite.com it gives you a list of websites linking to you. But i'm sure this isn't really 100% accurate with google, so would be very interested to see a much more indepth way to do it that yields more results.
September 28, 200718 yr OK... I found a VERY useful tool indeed, the link is below: http://www.zeytech.net/Google-Backlink-Sorgulama-01ag.aspx This lists your backlinks and also the pagerank's of the websites linking to you.
December 21, 200718 yr Use this and get all your backlinks from google, msn, and yahoo at the same time http://www.marketleap.com/publinkpop/default.htm
July 3, 200818 yr Use this and get all your backlinks from google, msn, and yahoo at the same time http://www.marketleap.com/publinkpop/default.htm None of these back link checking reporting websites are of much use, Google also frown upon them heavily and this is why they won't give acurate results. Google do supply their own webmaster tool program which is going to give you the most acurate insight into what they see including content analysis, backlinks and much more. But Google are never likely to give away EXACTLY what they see when they spider your sites!!
July 16, 200818 yr I think this command (link:http://www.yourwebsite.com) is not that much accurate. I have tried it on one of my blogs and some of my backlinks were not listed on the results. I just use backlinkwatch.com for checking on the quantity and quality backlinks of my sites/blogs. This tool really helps me determine where most of my inbound links came from.
July 16, 200818 yr can't believe that no one has said this already so here we go link:yoursite.com does nothing - and it certainly does NOT show google's cache Google obfuscates backlinks to deter spammers who try to constantly figure out Google's algorithm. The most accurate list of backlinks that you'll get for you site is by using the Yahoo Site Explorer tool.
July 23, 200818 yr Have you tried using Google Webmaster Tool? Better to use it to see your backlinks.
