What do you think of my site?

Featured Replies

I don't think it should be the same colours as the menu. The menu is unique and i don't think the other pages should be the same. Try not having a border line and maybe just like an inner shadow.

However, i do think it would look cool if both boxes entered the screen like the menu, vertically meet each other and have a smooth 'ease' just like the menu.

Hey :)

Yeah overall it looks pretty good!

On the contact page, the first 4 fields dont look right because I have google toolbar, so the Autofill function changes the field colour to a light yellow.

To fix that, add this

.form {background:#ffffff !important;}

Try <form ... autocomplete="off" ... > (if you want to prevent the actual autocompletion).

And also add background-color:#fff !important; to each input field in the stylesheet (if you just want to stop the highlighting). Change the #fff to what you want.

Thanks, will do! :)

i really like it.. layout and color scheme are coooool!

i dont like the look of the navigation though. i think it could do with being a bit bolder and i have never been a fan of capitalization! despite how 'grammatically correct' it is! i think uppercase might be a nice touch! :)

i had to try and find something! :)

It's so pretty! I love it, and it stands out against other sites because it really is unique.

8/10 for that though it loaded very slowly.

Thanks rufus and smoothonline!

I'll check if it would be possible to turn those big PNG pictures into JPEGs, so that it would load faster. :)

1: Why isn't "Tibby Designs" a link to the homepage?

2: Yes, it is quite slow

3: "Validate" a gift card? What does that mean? Use "use".

A larger bolder Main Menu font will make me feel like clicking on something. I almost missed the main menu.

I think your design is really good. Definately something a bit different. I do agree with nickyoung though, and think perhaps you should make your main menu more noticable as it does kind of get a bit lost with the bright design of the rest of the site. Nice work though!

Hey guys,

Could you try out the site again? It should load much faster now.

I've also changed the top menu so that it's 'bolder' like some of you said, I don't like the font right now but I'll find something better some time later.

Let me know what you think (and please tell if it loads faster)!

Cheers.
