It is generally agreed to be "a bad thing", as the information provided can never be specific enough. It is better just to have a form for the user to email you.

 

Another method is to provide a call-back form - where the user enters his/her phone number and you call them back when you can.

I have seen one of these forms (i5 Networks... but I can't find the form I'm talking about now... it was crap anyway ), I tried to fill it out, and failed. I don't remember the specific issue but there are always answers that either don't apply or you haven't offered the correct option.

 

Even if you have a contact form with a drop down menu and choices like, "I want a website quote", "I have feedback on your site" etc. this can target your form submissions, and for the web quote you can also offer a box for them to describe what they want (basically). That's about as far as I'd take it, personally.

I wouldn't advise having clients choose colours without advice - That's your job - what if they choose non web friendly or low accessability colours or because they simply have a "favourite" colour? A recipe for disaster.

 

By the way, there's two typos on your site - it looks very bad if you have such basic errors - what impression does that give to prospective clients? Will the same lack of attention to detail be applied to their site?

 

We have 2 diffrent packages that you can choose, the diffrent packages are the Basic package and the Pro Package.

Actually, there's three typos in the example you gave. Two misspellings of "different" and a comma splice (two independent clauses separated by a comma rather than a period or semi-colon).
