hi

I like it but it is not my main career. My main business is insurance related but because I am able to make an excellent income working from home, I had to become an SEO expert. I do take on other clients and do SEO stuff for them but only if they are not in my same industry!

hi

I like it but it is not my main career. My main business is insurance related but because I am able to make an excellent income working from home, I had to become an SEO expert. I do take on other clients and do SEO stuff for them but only if they are not in my same industry!

urmmmm, ok :s

My strategy is to write each page as landing page targeting a different aspect of what I do and finely-tuned for that so I want my juice to flow deep (does that sound oh so wrong to anyone else?!!!!). Even my contact page should work as a landing page. If I did have a page that was purely functional and didn't help to engage or sell; or was detrimental to my image then I would 'noref' it.

In that article it says the Returns Page got a high PR which was bad... but what if it was written well and potential customers were looking for a supplier with such a policy?

I think there are plenty of folks out there who try to hoard SEO juice on only their homepage - but it's more effective to tune different landing pages to different visitors.

As always with SEO matters I say concentrate concentrate on the content and everything else follows.

:D

Normally home page of the directories have more page rank, where as the category pages wont have more Pr. Even if they have the pages will ahve a NO-Follow, so the links will not have any importance compared to paid sites where you can have good page rank for the submitted sites.
