I've just set up a blog on blogspot called "Designers Blog", and can be found here:

Over it's lifetime, I plan to go over methods of getting clients, methods of designing, recommended websites, tutorials, books etc, and hope that it gets popular, if it does, then I intend on setting up unique hosting and a blog that has multiple writers, who would in return get a percentage of any adsense money for their contributions.

 

Any suggestions for the blog, what you would like to see etc, then just let me know.

 

Edit: I know it's nothing major at the moment, with very little content, but I really really just want to write nice, concise articles, and hopefully improve my copy a little too.

Designers Blog has been updated with an article titled "Learning Web Design", which is a guide for people who are interested in becoming web designers. It covers where you should go to learn, some recommendations and whether or not a course is necessary.

you should have used wordpress in a subdomain of yours rather than using blog spot. Also, as a web design blog its not very web designery...

A blogging system is currently in development! Eventually with it's own domain, I want the WordPress blog to be perfect.

 

I know what you mean about it not being very "design-ery", there's nothing special about it, even with the WordPress blog there won't be much about it either. It's going to be very very simple, with a sidebar and sub-sections, rather than loads and loads of buttons to press.

 

With the WordPress blog, I'm going to have a list of designers who I recommend for various reasons, if you'd like to be considered, then let me know.
