January 1, 200917 yr Bloglite.co.uk is the home for the blog lite software: Home page: http://bloglite.co.uk Forums: http://bloglite.co.uk/phpBB3/index.php Go and take a look and tell me what you think! Plus join the forum, it's lonely at the moment. Updates will be made regularlly, so sign up if you are interested. :coffee: Thanks Dave
January 3, 200917 yr Very clean site. The forums are still lonely! I couldn't find a demo. If it's there, it's tough to find. That's the absolute first thing I look for when considering purchasing scripts and web software. I deal in Joomla heavily and never touch a "pay" component without being able to try it first. This could really help you get your site off the ground. Try to add admin demo as well. Best of luck
January 3, 200917 yr I tried joining the forums but activation email hasn't come yet... EDIT: resent it and activated...YaY !! I'll be checking out blog lite in due time...I'm about to launch my own application.
January 3, 200917 yr Author Thanks for the replies guys. I added a demo last night, bloglite.co.uk/Blog Lite 1.0/blog.html I'll try and add that link around more, a good suggestion thanks ashel. Yeah I saw you on the forums nick welcome!
January 3, 200917 yr the only thing i dont like is the logo, it is alot like adobes logo, another fault about the logo, blue , then the "b and l" written in white, then the b and l or the actual words in grey and light grey.... doesnt look wright. also the little slogan "simple, personal" a blog isnt meant to be personal, its meant to be read by people, if you have a blog you really dont think about personal because anyone can read it. unless you mean personal as in design or whatever.
January 4, 200917 yr Tried the demo and it does seem quick and simple. Good option for those with no knowledge of databases.
January 4, 200917 yr Nice stuff but theres a BUG on http://bloglite.co.uk/about.php#what it looks like your container is too short, and your footer navigation runs away to the left. screenshot:
January 4, 200917 yr Author Thanks for the feedback. @mrshock: I thought that too when I first made it but if you look on the adobe home pgae: http://www.adobe.com/ they aren't totally similar and I think my design works for this website. @empek: Thanks, I'll try and fix those over the next few days.
