you don't have to do anything it's just an api to enable you to collect info from your registered websites in "google webmaster tools", (should you want to make the info avaible on your own pages, perhaps present info in a particular way to a client, this makes it posible.)

 

the code example is for java however if i were to use this api, I would probably use a socket conection from php.
