I think the main design is good but it could do with a few tweaks to make it seem more polished.

 

If it was my site I'd:

• Create a clearer division between the header bar and the content.
  
• Use different shades of brown other than the two shades used
  
• Move the YouTube videos so they're not on the very edge
  
• Create a more professional logo
  
• Concentrate on one main image in the header
  
• Make sure the sidebar doesn't go off the edge on the contact page

Looks Clean and nice , But the text "Doggy videos" on right side. Should be Bold with color "#333333"

Think the site is let down by the header, the anti aliasing where the brown dog has been cut out is not doing your header any justice.

 

If you could come up with a nice header think you would be almost there the only other thing is you have a different sized margin on the right side of your body text to the left hand side which makes your text look a tad wonkey.

The curvy bits at the top of the site, they don't exactly connect with each side perfectly. Other then that, its good.

I don’t know where you think things fall short, but this in my opinion.

 

The website has the correct face and looks the part which is the plus.

 

Whoever is behind the website’s main doors, needs to be using a podcast to tell all and sundry about their care and attention to detail etc.

 

The other wants scrapping so more room is given to importance.

 

Why not use that to show the many breeds of dogs to visitors/ clients - to show they are on everyone’s tail.
