I wanted to add a search button on my website but now i have looked in to it i see there are many scripts etc available. I didn't think it would be that hard to configure as there is not much content to search anyway.

 

I would like the search button to find specific keywords within pages and take them to that point of the word they searched. Is this possible?

 

Is there a very basic way of setting up a search button or can anyone advise me on something that would suite me?

Hi the best i can offer you is to use google internal search thats if your site is indexed by google also if your site is generated from a database then i have a php keyword search script that is easy to configure

Hey thanks for your reply, i am not using a database so this won't suite me but to narrow down what i need i would like the search button to search keywords within images so if someone searches a particular word that an image has it can take them to the image.

 

Anyone good with this sort of thing can help? Anyone know about any tutorials that can help me put this in to action?

Anyone any good with this subject starting to lose faith.
