New to Dreamweaver and Website design, I am looking for a 5 page CSS template where I can practice my website designs as I have several websites I own that only need a few CSS pages to be online.

I have alreasdy tried the free templates I got with Dreamweeaver but they are not cool enough and use frames which I have already been told not to use.

I appreciate anything you can help me starting out.

hmmm i built my first site in dreamweaver,,,, honest advise dont build it 100% in dreamweaver... i felt it limited me.

Also dont build in tables... again it limits your design.

 

forus on XHTML and CSS first.... (use external CSS style sheets) if you want to get into design asap and not have time to learn the ins and out of coding,,, i do advise SITEPOINT books (Web site the right way using HTML and CSS)

 

I still use dreamweaver... but i mainly stay in the code site (never use the design site) i like to hand write codes and check them in browsers.

 

check out CSS zen Garden (you can download CSS and html coding) that can get you use to reading CSS layout and give you an idea how they work.

you only need a few css pages online? I don't understand that at all, so are you wanting someone to build you a 5 page site even though you are advertising your services as a web designer?

The business partner I was with moved on. I was creating Flash and Video whilst the design work was his speciality.

I now would like to do the design work myself so will change my websites until I have learned from you guys.
