October 18, 200817 yr Hi all. I am looking to buy a new monitor, at least 22" or 1680x1050 - preferably 1920x1200.. CRT or LCD, i don't mind. Anyone have any suggestions/recommendations or is anyone looking to sell a monitor?
October 18, 200817 yr I have 21" (I think) at 1680x1050... Came with my $900 PC.. Its great... 21" or bigger CRT's are so bulky, you'd be better off going for a good LCD.
November 4, 200817 yr Hi all. I am looking to buy a new monitor, at least 22" or 1680x1050 - preferably 1920x1200.. CRT or LCD, i don't mind. Anyone have any suggestions/recommendations or is anyone looking to sell a monitor? 22" with 1680 is very popular size - you can buy 2 for under $500 - that's not a bad idea for the price/budget...it's good for multi-tasking.. 1920 on a 22" is not as common as 1680 on a 22".. 1920 on a 24" you can find but price jumps a bit higher you can get even higher resolutions on some 30" LCDs but expect to pay a grand - the experience should be great though...
February 2, 200917 yr Hi all. I am looking to buy a new monitor, at least 22" or 1680x1050 - preferably 1920x1200.. CRT or LCD, i don't mind. Anyone have any suggestions/recommendations or is anyone looking to sell a monitor? I think you have to go to 23" or 24" to get 1920 x 1200. I have a Dell 2408WFP, 1920 x 1200. It's a really nice panel, S-PVA so excellent viewing angles and so on, but it's wide gamut so some colours (espec red) are not quite right out of the box - it really needs hardware calibration. For the money though (and as long as you calibrate it) it's fantastic. S
