My new website but... I'm not satisfied

Featured Replies

Hi everyone.

I made a new website and after a lot of work about the template, i'm really not satisfied. I had a good template but there was too much things and so I erased a lot of details and colours to have a white and simple webdesign.

But now, I'm watching my template and I'm really not satisfied. I didn't found it attractive.

Could someone help me? Give me some advices? Thanks a lot!

Don't use tables and get your code to validate.

It all seems a bit squashed up to me. Personally i would drop the serif fonts for somthing a bit cleaner and easier to read, and try add more padding to space it out a bit. Extra line height on the content would also improve it.

Edit: I think these sorts of minimal designs really need a lot more white space to work properly

You do need a lot more white space to pull this off.

Also I don't think having 3 types of line as a design element works, one or two perhaps, but otherwise it looks messy.
