August 30, 200817 yr I haven't seen many web design companies actually tell their users about web browsers which are available and standards compliant such as Firefox or Opera. I think it's about time we as web designers educate the public to use standards compliant web browsers so that we get to the point of not having to add hacks to our code. I am anticipating IE8 because it's 'meant' to be the more compliant with the standards than previous IE's. But for now i think we should as web designer's suggest to our users what they should use to browse the web. What does everyone else think?

I have decided I will put on every one of my websites a notation to upgrade if they are using IE. I totally agree with you.
