August 19, 200818 yr Hello everyone! I'm not sure if this goes here or in another forum. Feel free to move and delete this line if so! Anyways, I'm working with a client that wants me to create a popup window that will display information when a user clicks a designated link (ie User clicks "choice a," popup window shows info about choice a) - easy enough with JavaScript. The visitor will then make a decision, clicking on one of two links. Either way, I'd like the link to open in the original window, rather than a new one. How can I go about this? Thank you in advance!
August 21, 200818 yr Why does it need to be pop-up windows at all? Usability issues aside, it'll be a bugger to maintain. Can't the decision point be made on the original screen? Maybe have a lightbox style block appear or a roller blind drop from the original text?
