  1. Hi This is driving me nuts. It's a work in progress at present but the Home page has just broken in Firefox 2. :aggressive: It should display a list of images in a <ul>. This works great in IE 6. here's the link http://www.grafnic.com/Cambrian/Index.html Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Nic 8) 8)

  6. Looking for some advice. I have a new client, a photographer who needs a web site. He needs the usual things like Web Site Build ( he's come up with a good clean design), Photo gallery Client login area (to access their photos) upload capability (he needs to upload clients photos) background "ambient" music Could anyone please advise on any suitable software/plugins (Thinkbox?/lightbox?) to achieve this. Any advice much appreciated. Thanks Nic
  7. Hi there If you want to learn HTML could I suggest W3Schools the tutorials are free, good and quite short. I would also suggest learning about Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) as well. Good luck Nic
  8. Hi Sometimes it's easier to use a better quality image some else has taken. I tend to use stock images and have found some good sites to get them from. Here's a few istockphoto Stock Exchange (freeish) Dreamstime Fotolia I do take my own photos as well and use a Fujifilm S5500. Good luck Nic

  14. Hi I've been playing with CSS for a while now. Initially it is a pain but stick with it and it is worth it. I now try to develop ALL my sites that way. (Although my own site remains tables based Grafnic.com. Must get round to that one) A very good book I came across on another forum was CSS mastery by Andy Budd (here's the book on Amazon CSS Mastery. Bought the book and it helped enourmously. Anyway keep on with the CSS, it is worth it in the end. Nic (BTW I dont get anything for pushing the book )
