  3. I have a customer that has asked me to set up and manage a Google AdWords campaign for him. I have several successful campaigns myself, so I know what I'm doing I'm just unsure about how to charge for it. I mean obviously there will be a fee but whether it’s a monthly fee or a additional price on each click. Also I'm confused about whether to add him to my AdWords account or create him a new one, because if I do it through mine I will have to pay for his clicks on my credit card then charge him the amount, this is fine if he pays a.s.a.p. but as we all know that’s not generally how it works. If anyone offers this service I would be very grateful in finding out how you do this. Thanks in advance if you can help. AW
  4. Hi all, I'm using dreamweaver and I have a table that I have a specific position for, and I'm not sure how to get it there. All I can seem to do is position it left, middle or right. I'm sure there’s a simple solution. Kind regards, Ash
  5. Hi all, I want to set up a Restaurant Directory, it will be fairly basic. Search for restaurants, type of cuisine etc. And also I would users to be able to review restaurants (five star rating, comments etc) Has anyone made a site like this? And what software/script did you use? I'd appreciate any advice. Kind regards, AW
  6. I have recently opened a heart internet reseller account and decided to use Host Pay. I'm going to start to try to customise the template they provided with my logo ect, however I'm not sure how to center it in all browsers, currently it is sitting to the left of the page. I need to know: 1, Which template file to edit 2, What code I need to change Thanks in advance if anyone can help me. Kind regards, Ash
  7. Im currently learning to use dreamweaver cs3, and I brought Sam's Teach Yourself Adobe dreamweaver CS3 from amazon. The best book i've ever brought. It states that you can learn it in 24 hours which is a bit far fetched, however because they are broken down into 1 hour lessons, you really do take it all in. Hope this helps. For only £10.99 you can't go wrong! Link below to UK amazon page undefined
  8. Thanks for the replies. This info really helps me, I often just sit there and try to imagine i'm the customer, and try to think how the process would go, which never really helps because I always have to know how everything works, but I suppose most customers aren't like this, they just need to know the basics.
  9. Hi all, Been reading through alot of posts on here and think it great to see such a vast information portal on all the subjects im interested in. I've been self teaching myself website design for a few years now but never really taken it seriously, until recently I enroled on a web developer course. Anyways...I will be qualified in about a year from now and have built a few webites for myself, friends & family. But id like to go freelance when qualified and try and make a living out of my hobby. I've been thinking about the whole process of selling websites to customers and what it entails, and for example, I know the in's & out's of Joomla and various other packages, but the customer doesn't. So when its all complete and finished and the customer for example wants to change his menu, how do they know how to? Do I need to put together a guide for them? Is that what the rest of you do? The same goes for online stores, forums etc. Please excuse me if these questions seem silly to you all but im just trying to get a understanding of all aspects of going freelance before I actually do. Thanks in advance, Ash
