  1. In all the time ive worked in design and web design industry, there have been times where projects have often drifted from the original project specification as clients have asked to introduce extra features, functionality into a project. Id be interested in how you guys handle this situation. Is it a case of 'give and inch, they will take a mile' or is it matter of being strict, yet may mean the loss of a client? Cheers!
  2. i suppose the next thing to ask is to where would said design company find reliable and experienced coders to outsource the work to?
  3. thanks. do you have a website i can take a look at bluedreamer?
  4. thanks for your welcome and feedback. Does the company with the client still project manage the project, or does the developer take over the dealing of the build? Also, if a design company was looking to work with a developer/programmer for their website projects, where is the best place to find a reliable and good quality person/company for the job?
  5. Hello forum! A newbie to the forum here! Was discussing this with others the other day. was wondering how common a practice it is for those design/web design companies short on developers time? Is it common practice for design companies to design interfaces and architecture only for clients, and for clients to get the interface built into fully functioning website by another company? Obviously the best solution is to offer a service to design and build, but wondered if this was the case. I see there are many freelancers on here, so thought it would be a good place to ask. Thanks
