  1. I'm game - I'm also going to have a crack at that fake client above as it seems like something that is worth my time heh! Wouldn't mind getting in on some of these ideas either so if you guys got an msn you should add me !
  2. I'd love to work with anyone as a team, would be great.
  3. This to me sounds like a good project to work on to get a grasp of PHP and MySQL - It wouldn't be anything too complex and you would gain a great deal of knowledge and confidence with the coding once you completed it. One thing I suggest is though, when you are coding it don't try to be too complex with it, when I code I try to keep it as simple as possible and it usually works out well. If you need any little bits of help here and there I could give you a hand.
  4. I'm up for contributing in any way I can to something like this as I wish to build up my portfolio. I've got pretty strong skills in PHP and MySQL and I play about with alot of coding in my spare time and stuff like this. If anyone is interested in doing a few team-based websites then let me know and we'll have a chat .
  5. First of all I'd like to say a big hello to everyone and that I'm looking forward to picking up some new tips and tricks in this community as well as lending a helping hand to others where I can . In terms of my web design knowledge, I'm more of the coder, even though I can use photoshop with ease I'm just not graphically minded lol so the things I come up with are usually quite muddled and amateurish. I am quite experienced with using XHTML and CSS and have picked up alot of PHP and MySQL along the way which is always fun. Looking to become even more experienced and I'm soon going to be building a website for a local pool league with alot of database work which should hopefully push me up to the next level. Spent most of my time working on a website for a shop run by a member of my family and I'm hoping to take that to the next level by studying web design at Lincoln University next September. Even though I don't know how hands on the course will be I'm sure it will still teach me alot and I get a years work placement aswell I think, should be good for helping me to get moving. Away from web design I love gaming, drinking, and going out with the mates and stuff, nothing extraordinary ^^. Great to meet you all. Craig
