Thank you guys for your opinions. 🙂 Do you use any tool to check your site? Any standard framework that you stick to (except title and meta descriptions)?

Problems with removing Wordpress footer
Hi, I want to remove the footer of the wordpress theme blossom pin this (child theme of blossom pin) via the footer.php file. However, when I delete the content in the footer the website is not displayed correctly anymore (for example font changed). Removing the footer with CSS by using the 'display none' function is no option for me since I am worried that this has a negative effect on SEO. This is the code of the footer.php file: <?php /** * The template for displaying the footer * * Contains the closing of the #content div and all content after. * * @link https://developer.wordpress.org/themes/basics/template-files/#template-partials * * @package Blossom_Pin */ /** * After Content * * @hooked blossom_pin_content_end - 20 */ do_action( 'blossom_pin_before_footer' ); /** * Before footer * * @hooked blossom_pin_instagram - 10 * @hooked blossom_pin_newsletter - 20 */ do_action( 'blossom_pin_before_footer_start' ); /** * Footer * * @hooked blossom_pin_footer_start - 20 * @hooked blossom_pin_footer_top - 30 * @hooked blossom_pin_footer_bottom - 40 * @hooked blossom_pin_back_to_top - 50 * @hooked blossom_pin_footer_end - 60 */ do_action( 'blossom_pin_footer' ); /** * After Footer * * @hooked blossom_pin_page_end - 20 * @hooked blossom_pin_after_page_end - 30 */ do_action( 'blossom_pin_after_footer' ); wp_footer(); ?> </body> </html> Any ideas how I can remove it?

How to add title attribute to header image
Hi, I am using wordpress and I cant figure out how to add a title attribute to the header image. According to some SEO sites this title tag has some relevance. - With the header image I mean the website logo (If you click on the logo it leads you to the homepage). - With title attribute I mean the text that appears if you hoover over the image. Same as with links for example. Looking forward to your replies.

How to add meta descriptions for certain URL's
I guess this is not possible because I only have the english posts, at least i dont know how. I cant access or edit the ES posts because they are auto generated.

How to add meta descriptions for certain URL's
What would be my options without Yoast? I am not depending on it. So I am open to use a different plugin instead or manually adding meta descriptions by adding code to the functions.php whatsoever.

How to add meta descriptions for certain URL's
Hi guys, I have the following problem. I am using Yoast for my meta description and have added a language (spanish) to my website using the TranslatePress Plugin. That means every page has now a second url like this: www.example.com/t-shirt www.example.com/es/t-shirt However, I can only edit the meta description of the original page (www.example.com/t-shirt) with Yoast. Do you have an idea how i can manually change the meta descriptions of the ES slug?

CSS: Expected RBRACE error - can it be ignored?
Yes I know what it means but I am not missing any closing brace, do I? My question was: If the code is working (even though it shows an error), can I ignore the error? I also came across the thread below but in the end it doesnt answer my question. https://github.com/jsfiddle/jsfiddle-issues/issues/1161

CSS: Expected RBRACE error - can it be ignored?
Hello, I added the following code to my CSS: ."name of element" { grid-template-columns: repeat (3,1fr); } and i get the error "Expected RBRACE at line ..., col 39". However the code seems to be working. Can I ignore this error message if the code works?

Update proof custom changes (Wordpress)
I was just about to set up a child theme and learned that my theme is actually already a child theme of another theme. I downloaded my theme like this via wordpress. Does that mean i can treat my theme like a child theme and all customization will stay after updates?

Update proof custom changes (Wordpress)
And this also applies if I use "additional CSS/Custom CSS plugin"?

Update proof custom changes (Wordpress)
Hi there, I am new to wordpress and just working on a website (Webshop with WooCommerce). I removed certain elements of my theme + WooCommerce by using the "Simple Custom CSS" plugin. However, now I read some (rather old) articles that I should create a child theme when making custom changes of the appearance because otherwise my changes will be lost after updates (to keep everything updated is crucial for me). Contrary to this, I came across recent articles which say that I dont need a child theme if I use a custom css plugin (e.g. Simple Custom CSS) for making those changes. Im a little confused now. Could someone confirm which of the 2 stories is correct? Thank you.
