  1. Hi everybody, Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but I would like to know what I am or want to be? A web designer? UI/UX designer? Don't think I'm a developer as I can't really code. I have always been interested in websites and I created my first website when I was about 15 for my uncle's business. It was very simple, written in HTML with a company logo, a few images, text, colour etc. I put this hobby on hold, went to college for a year and then had to get a job, which I stayed in for 17 years. In the last two months, I have picked my old hobby back up and created a website on the Weebly platform, three on Wordpress and I'm just starting to learn Magento. The Wordpress websites, I signed up for some hosting, installed Wordpress, installed a theme and modified it by changing some code, installed various plugins and created the pages. The website address is www.azuredigital.co.uk. Back to my question, is this classed as web design? UI/UX design? I need to get another job but not sure what I should be applying for? Am I even good enough for any of these yet, or should I be looking at entry-level/junior?
  2. Many thanks for the quick response, Chris. Much appreciated. Sounds as if the two have fallen out so this may be a difficult one.
  3. Hi everybody. I used to make websites as a hobby when I was about 14 in school but lost touch after leaving school and getting a full-time job. I picked this hobby back up a year ago and am really enjoying it again. So much so that I have started my own company designing websites. Enough about me, I have a potential client who went to a company on the internet to make him a website and also paid for hosting through him but isn't happy with him anymore and has come to me to see what I can do. How should this work? Should the maker of the site hand over the account details at the hoster and the website admin user name and password? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Mark
