It maybe auto renewed but I didn't pay for it. Not sure if there is a glitch in OVH's system but it wont let me renew because it says it expired xxx days ago. Won't let me transfer out either because it's expired. Website is fine, all up and working. I just need to ring them but they're closed until 8am tomorrow and its driving me mad not knowing.

If someone else has bought it why are their details not showing on Nominet? Nominet shows the domain as belonging to me with the following dates - Registered on: 17-Sep-2008 Expiry date: 17-Sep-2018 Last updated: 21-Nov-2016 That looks like its registered to me until 17/09/18 but I didn't renew it.

I've managed to let our website domain expire about a year ago. It was noticed last week when I logged into OVH to check something. I tried to renew there and then but it wouldn't let me because it was outside the redemption period. I wasn't able to buy it again because OVH renewed the registration without payment from me and they wont let me transfer it out because its not registered but is in my control panel. Yesterday I've had a missed call from a company that specialises in buying expired domains and selling them back. According to nominet its still my domain, its still in my control panel in Ovh but am I screwed? Any help please as I'm panicking a bit. Haven't spoke to the company yet, any pointers on how I deal with them? I'm Uk based.
