  1. Hello, I was recently looking for a web designer forum and landed on this website. I'm all set to become a great web designer (self-teaching) and eventually become a pro . And, I'm 15...turning 16 in about a month and half =]. I have started a new topic regarding where I should properly start my journey to acquire some web/graphic designing skills...and unfortunately there are no replies! I hope one of you visit my thread (http://www.webdesignerforum.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=10476) and shine my way through out... Thank you!
  2. Hello, I'm new to the forum. I'm pretty interested into web designing and it simply amazes me every time I see beautiful web 2.0 templates around the web (or some online css galleries). And, I'm also pretty young (15 at the moment, turning 16 pretty soon!). And, I am "somewhat" familiar with photoshop (b/c I used to practice designing but gave up...mainly due to lack of good results from those "self-training-sessions"). I really want to start all over and learn it "professionally". I'm ready to dedicate some time and practice a lot. I want to be eventually be able to design stuff you see on www.cssremix.com or those catchy WP themes on http://wpcandy.com/sites. So, can you guys please recommend any good websites (tuts), training lessons ie.: CD's, online videos, etc ("quality-lessons" instead of those old web-site-design crap). I would prefer it to be free but won't mind paying it. And something that may also help me familiarize with Photoshop CS2 (I don't think my computer will be able to sustain if I try running PS CS3....=]). Hah! **UPDATE** Hm. It'll also be helpful if you guys can post some websites where I can get some quality icons, stock photos (including vector), Photoshop Brushes etc etc etc. Thanks!! Thank you so much in advance...and sorry for my poor english!!
