The IP addresses are many - the only regular IP's are the owners IP (they login and manage orders) I already use cloudflare - it was installed about 4 months ago - it's not really doing that much to help. Even though it says it's caching a substantial amount of traffic, there is still an awful lot that is getting through. I've implemented: - the HackRepair bad bot list - w3 Total Cache - Cloudflare I trawl the access logs and awstats for anything that looks unnatural and I really can't find much at all!

I have a website that gets maybe 100 visitors per day but apparently 300,000 hits per month. I believe it is bot traffic and have recently implemented the HackRepair bad bot list to try and block some traffic. It doesn't appear to have done much at all and the website keeps crashing out (hitting CPU and Memory limits) I can see it has hit these limits in the server CPanel => "Resource Usage Overview" But I have no idea on how to stop it? blocking the bots hasn't helped... I have trawled the raw access logs but it doesn't really tell me anything (other that the pages that are being accessed) I am looking for a way to monitor and report on the processes that are causing the problems?
