  1. Web design novice in search of guidance

    Dear forum users, My name is Kevin and I am Product Designer. Over the past few months I've been trying to find information on the how to go about creating a portfolio/blog site to showcase my work. I have no experience in web design and I am looking for a novice friendly means of doing so. I began to build a website on wix, but I found their ads to be quite a turn off and their subscriptions to be hard to rationalise for something that I will be receiving very little use. I currently have a domain and hosting, but would like to get some expert advice on creating a site with as little hassle as possible. Are there any free website building tools out there that do not show ads or is it quite a big ask? Thanks for your help. Regards, Kevin
