Thanks for your help Ben. I'll give it a go and see what happens. Looks like Photoshop has better functionality than Fireworks when it comes to changing image colours.

Hi I'm trying to get to grips with designing my own images and am making steady progress - most of this is thanks to all of you on this site. My current problem is that I am trying to design my site selling kitchens. I have a number of kitchen pictures but not pictures for the whole range - ie not all pictures for colours and styles available. What I've been trying to do for the last couple of days (and failed miserably) is to change the colours of the kitchens by outlining my kitchens using the lasso tool and then modifying the hue/saturation. However this isn't working and I was wondering if one of you experts out there could help me out please? I know it can be done because I've seen a number of sites that have done this. I enclose a couple of jpegs to show you what I mean. Thanks in advance Sam
