  1. Haha no idea what that guy's talking about, oh well I'm also not too keen on the menu system either.. I'm gonna look for some better inspiration and implement that. I was at first going to only use that for a mobile device but in the end I kept it anyway. I'll change the opacity on focus @@dap, that's a great idea thanks! I had no errors in an offline version and the google plus icon was fine then but i'm going to change the to svg files anyway. Thank you for the feedback I really appreciate it
  2. Hey, would love to have some criticism on this kind of 'test' website I made! mattsmith_trident.a3.wrvc.co.uk Note that the Contact Us page isn't implemented yet. Some concerns I have already.. 1) If you open the menu it doesn't animate in time with the button and lags behind. How would I calculate the time the menu aligns with the side of the button? 2) In IE 11 the plus button at the top left breaks and the social buttons don't stay inside the menu. Thanks a lot!
  3. Hey, hopefully you'll find web designing very fun and good luck learning!

  5. Hey, stuck on a codeschool excercise I get 'Your 1st log call should be 'Generator #1 is off.' I've looked at the answer and still don't understand what is wrong with my code. var totalGen = 19; var totalMW = 0; for(var numGen = 1;numGen <= totalGen;numGen++) if(numGen % 2 === 0 && numGen <= 4) { totalGen +=62; console.log("Generator #" + numGen + " is on, adding 62 MW, for a total of" + totalGen + "MW"); } else if(numGen % 2 === 0 && numGen >= 5) { totalGen += 124; console.log("Generator #" + numGen + " is on, adding 124 MW, for a total of" + totalGen + "MW"); } else { console.log("Generator #" + numGen + " is off."); } This is the challenge:
  6. Hey, I'm 15 and pretty new to web design, I've been at a very basic level of coding for the past year or so in HTML and CSS, but I've decided to focus on javascript and start learning it since the past month or so. Hopefully this forum will help me to learn it, and then later on maybe I can help people as well. I will probably be asking lots of stupid questions on here so sorry! But I have to learn somehow Matt
