  1. Well looks like it kinda works but something missing. I get "[gallery ids=1,2,3,4,5]" So that comes from the post. But it does not show the images in the gallery.
  2. Thank you so much. I was quite lost with that. I'll try it tonight. I will let you know how it goes!
  3. Hi, I am building this portfolio website wich has an image gallery where the owner can upload and remove images. I didn't want to make the whole website in Wordpress since i haven't used it much and the appearance needed to be quite custom so i thought it's easier for me if i just write it from scratch. I was wondering. Google tells me it is possible to integrate parts of wordpress onto your site. Would it be possible just to make the gallery in wordpress and get it appear on the site? How would i go on doing this if it is possible? Thank you!
  4. Following a hard day filled with coding and working to build up my portfolio, I realised something that will make my life a million time easier and will hopefully help someone else out there too. My design skills are quite limited so I thought collaborating with a web designer would speed up the whole process. I was wondering if any up and coming web designer on here would be interested in teaming up with me to exchange skills? You will be more than welcome to use everything in your portfolio. Also, this would be a great opportunity to gain some experience working within a team and learn from each other. If you are interested in finding out more please do get in touch. Alternatively, if you have any ideas on how to connect with web designers who would be interested in skills exchange please do let me know.

  6. Hi everyone, Thank you so much for taking time to look at my site and all the helpful advice. Now that you mention all those things i realise that of course you are right. It's funny how one is blind for some things until someone actually mentions it out loud. I will keep at it. There's so much to learn that it hurts my head but at the same time i also like it.
  7. First of all i apologise that this post is in the wrong area. I wasn't able to start a new thread on the review section as i didn't have enough posts. For a month or so i have been learning front end web development with a goal to land a job in the field one day in the future. I decided to ask some feedback about my latest "product" so i know what are the biggest issues i need to tackle. I am mostly looking feedback on the technical side of things. I am surely not a designer. For this site i just went trough some excisting websites and tried to make similar things. Oh and keep in mind it's only a 2nd website i have ever made so obviously it's going to have lot's of issues. I am just looking for some advice for next steps to take in my developement as a developer. You can find the site here: http://176.32.230.28/motestingdomain.com/
  8. Thank you for clearing this out a bit for me. I am more interested in front end actually but the course seems to be going trough back end side of things aswell. I knew the importance of JavaScript. That's why i have started my days of going trough atleast few hours of JavaScript before doing anything else. I have made it almost a daily routine.
  9. Hi there everyone, I am a new web developer in making. Hopefully one day i can do this for living but right now i am still learning. I am taking this web developement course in udemy wich goes trough everything from HTML to Ruby. That brings me to my question. The course deals with Ruby and Ruby on rails. But searching online i have realized there is much more jobs for people knowing PHP. What do you people think? Should i just skip Ruby parts and learn PHP instead. Or just go with Ruby? I am in very big state of confusion at the moment. Thank you!
