  1. Hello all! I need your advice about entering the web development field

    Hello all, I am new to this forum and have come seeking advice! I just finished two BS degrees, neither of which relate to web development. And conveniently I realize now what field I want to work in, web development. I am eager to start learning but have no idea of where to start. I've tried using a free online teaching site but was discouraged because I felt I was not getting what I needed. Questions: Are there companies out there that hire smart people with no experience and train them? (I just thought about this today, seems rather unrealistic, I know. But also kind of makes sense.) Would you suggest taking 'go at your own pace' online classes? Or will free online sites teach all that one needs to know? I am really just looking for HOW to start. Any advice would be extremely helpful and much appreciated. Thanks so much y'all!
