  3. I had a deposit which was also not paid completely. It is a static website. A question though, is it considered complete when I'm already done with the works? The website is literally done. It just needs the content that the client should supply. And is messaging them every week to remind them about the content annoying?
  4. It looks really nice! You probably should give the buy button some space breath though and adjust the width. I think it will be better if you'll use circle for the color selection. Overall it really looks nice and neat.
  5. Can you please give me an advise on what should I do for my client to give me the web content so the project can be done already and for me to get paid. I've been messaging the client for 3 weeks now since the web design and development has been finished and the only thing needed is the web content. I'm not getting respond from them. They respond promptly when I was still in the production phase but now that I'm asking for payment, they just don't message back. What should I do for the client to give me the web content? Do you think they're not giving it because they're not yet ready to pay me? What should I do for them to just be honest about. Can I message them once a week to remind them about the content or is it annoying? The client is a friend and I don't want any conflict. I just needed to be paid. Thanks!
  6. Hi guys! I just like to ask if you can share your story on how you started as a successful freelancer? For example, how did you get your first client then the next client after that. What was your strategy and techniques to find more clients. I studies design in school, though you will learn a lot on how to do things to make it aesthetically beautiful and good for the user, they did not really thought us how to have a success business as being a web designer. I'm trying Elance but I guess there are a lot of people who are there already and it seems that everything is bargain. Anyways, I'm interested in your success stories. I know that word of mouth is still the best way to get clients but in the digital age, I would like to know how you also used the Internet as a tool to get more clients.
  7. Good day everyone! I'm new so I'm just gonna introduce myself. I'm a web designer/front end developer from the sunny land of the Philippines. I hope to get to know more about design and development trends, as well as the business side. Is there anything that you can suggest for me to be more active here? Have a nice day!
