    Yes the plus operator selects the next li.
     
    Its problably best though to use the :first-child or :nth-child(x) pseudo selector as it easier to debug.
     
    Only IE7 and above.

    My Name is Darren Street and I am the director of Refresh Websites Ltd, a website design business in the Oxford area.
     
    I have been creating Websites for over 10 years. Initially good old HTML and then with ASP, .Net and now all my sites tend to be Umbraco based.
     
    In terms of design style I seem to have now gone full circle. I tend to create websites that have a strong visual impact but are blazing fast & seriously powerful on automation and workflow.
     
    I tend not to add lots of bells & whistles to my sites, as I really think website visitors are bored of them. Many website visitors want to get to the information, product or service, NOT indulge the developers passion of whizz bang.
