  1. Hi Blue Dreamer, sorry for the late reply... I still haven't got to the bottom of this but I'm going to give your suggestion a try.... Cheers.
  2. I uploaded a copy of my web site to a new server under the domain name; www.modelsstandout.somee.com However, when I visit the web site, I am being redirected to the web pages on my old server; www.modelsstandout.co.uk Is there some way I can stop www.modelsstandout.somee.com redirecting to the pages on www.modelsstandout.co.uk ?
  3. To add to my last post, my developer has come back to me to say its a server issue.....but my hosting company is saying its a coding issue...... Not sure how to determine where the issue is ......
  4. Thanks., I have just heard back from host; "We have rebooted the server and verified everything is back to normal. All other website on the server are loading fine except the one you mentioned. So I suggest you to optimize the code and database query." By the sounds of it, it looks like I have an issue with my database....
  5. I have unlimited space on my account so it would not be that. I just got this reply from my host: "The performance appears to be better now. The RAID is still verifying on the server which causes slowness at times." However, On checking my page load time it is still 15 seconds....I don't know if it is my server or my database which is the issue...Any ideas on how I could find out? Thanks.
  6. Thanks, I did this but they have not come back with any thing specific. My web host just said " please try again now" and on trying again, I found it to be no better. When I tried to access my web site yesterday I got this error message appear instead of my web page....Would this recent issue, suggest it is my server which is running low on memory which is the cause of my web site running slow? Server Error in '/' Application. Could not load file or assembly 'AjaxControlToolkit' or one of its dependencies. There is not enough space on the disk. 7. Hi, My web site www.modelsstandout.co.uk is taking 15 seconds to load (having done a test using GT Metrix). I found the main issue is the 13 seconds delay in which the server is crunching data before serving the first bytes to a visiting browser. I was wondering if there is any solution that comes to mind in fixing the back-end code to speed up the site? Thanks.

  11. I have a web page; http://www.modelsstandout.co.uk/sample-assignments.aspx which looks fine in Safari but the page border is broken when browsing the page in Chrome. Any ideas on things I should be looking for?
  12. Hi Teodara, Thanks for your helpful email. This fixed the problem in Safari but it did not work for the Chrome web browser. Still it's a good start! I made a small donation to the wheelchair fund, Cheers.
