  2. Thanks, it seems a firefox issues from a quick google. It did however identify that my backup font wasn't suitable and should be changed. IE issues will be ironed out.
  3. Thanks for the comments, can I ask which fonts you are commenting on here, the default font is Open Sans, I just find it extremely clean and easy to embed with google fonts. I completely understand your comments regarding the work section being kind of the only green area of the site, before changing my vision on the home page there was a different image which had a very green photo filter over it. Perhaps this is something I'll look into changing.
  4. I'm interested to hear what tools you guys use for wireframing. I currently have access to balsamiq through university but wanted to explore other options, preferably free. So wether it be good old pencil and paper or some high tech web app, I'm interested. Cheers
  5. Hey folks, I've just redesigned my portfolio, brought it a bit more up to date. Just wanted some general feedback on what you thought? Known Issues: - Responsive Design not yet done. - Few bits of lipsum text. http://design.bymully.com Cheers

  7. The way I have structured my folders would mean it would probably be easier to find the relevant iframe html page. I think this solution is viable for now until I notice some severe load time issues. Any other solutions are welcome.
  8. I have just messed around with iframes and got a desired result. Why would you steer clear of them?
  9. Hi there, I'm designing a website that is selling cars, I'm using the fancybox plug in which when you click on the image of the car a larger image pops up. What i'm looking to do is when this image pops up, either the caption (probably the easiest way) or an area to the side that displays information to the right. Sort of in this layout: ___________________ | | | | | | | | | | | | ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ The car image being to the left with the caption or block of text to the right. I'm open to using any other lightbox sort of script that supports this. An idea I had was to create a separate html page and use the iframe support fancy box has, but with lots of deals going on there this could be a long process. Thanks
  10. Thanks for the responses, I mentioned it to my client and he had no idea that these hidden links were there. I have since accessed and removed these links for him. As for the site, it was a simple static site with a few pages and a contact form. The client himself has mentioned since that he has read somewhere that a hacker may have gained access through this contact form. Not knowing much about this side of computing I struggled with a response as I wasn't sure if this was possible at all. If so, what security measures can we take to prevent this. We had already done the obvious, changing ftp passwords etc. Thanks Jake
  11. Hi all, I have been asked by someone to do a redesign for 5-6 of their companies websites. Today, I checked the source codes after the client mentioned there are some hidden links. At first I thought this was just the previous developer keyword stuffing etc. To my shock and horror at the bottom of just one page from all the 5-6 sites were many links to illegal content such as animal pornography. I require some advice on what to do, right now, i'm certainly not even entertaining the idea of meeting up with this person, which under normal circumstances I'm willing to do. I have replied to the client mentioning this illegal content but have not since had a reply. Regards
