    Sometimes I get up as early as 3:00 AM depending on how big my day is. I'll down a cup of coffee and knock out 75% of the day's work in those first few hours. It's really a wonderful feeling

    Yes. To move to a new hosting space, it is necessary to change name servers.
     
     
    Before making the NS change, log in to the new hosting account (123-Reg) and ensure that the proper MX records are already set. This should not cause mail downtime, as the MX records are cached by the old provider and the new one. Also, mail downtime is rare. Even if the server goes down, the mailer daemon on the other side will keep trying to send the email, usually for up to 10 days. Although there shouldn't be any missing emails, if something were to happen, any missing emails will come through after a few hours.

    From a DNS perspective, it is possible to forward the current domain without changing nameservers, but changing the NS shouldn't be hard. If you have any more questions about this, just ask. I'm a systems administrator
