Hi everyone, Sorry to dredge this topic back up from the depths, but I've just come across an e-careers deal on Time Out Offers, similar to the Groupon one mentioned previously, but this time for a smartphone app developer course. I'm naturally a pretty sceptic person with these kinds of websites, and it only took a glance at the e-careers website to wonder how legit they are, but I'm very interested in learning how to develop my own smartphone apps without having to do the full thing and learn the coding (I know, I'm a cheater). Anyway the reason for my post is to ask two things: 1. Has anyone tried this course and if so is it as bad and outdated as the web design course discussed above? Obviously I'm not expecting great things from a heavily discounted online course, but it claims to at least enable you to design your own app and how to upload it to the Apple store, has anyone done this? 2. Are any of you knowledgable techies able to advise me of anywhere else that might be a good start for free or cheap learning on smartphone app development? Thanks in advance for any responses.
