It's not only Groupon who are offering this 'Webmaster' course for a mere £99 – Reed, the recruitment site, have been shamelessly plugging them for a bit, now. Reed seem to be under the impression they are properly accredited courses with actual qualifications at the end of them, so based on their information I thought I'd click on the link to request some more information... Their 'more information' turned up less than twenty minutes later, in the form of quite an aggressive, hard-sell phone call. Not one of my questions regarding hardware compatibility for certain programs I would be expected to practice, potential additional costs involved of purchasing additional software, etc. were answered with anything more than a: "Oh, no; that'll be fine, can I sign you up now?" – at which point, alarm bells starting ringing, I told them to call me back and I got looking up their reviews. Anyway, thought I'd post to thank you all for saving me £100 and, by the sounds of things, a load of mither!
