Build up free website: You may use many free tool on the internet like WP blog, blog spot, or many other free tool that help you to build up a website. You may search such website on google. They will give you a helpful tool, and informative guilde lines that help you to build a website (however, with this way, you don't have your privacy domain name. I mean you have to use their domain name for your website. And you may choose name for subdomain.) 2. Buy a domain name. and use free CMS to build up your web. This way is more helpful and easy to achieve your goals. You just need to buy a domain name on Whois, or Godady. and then use free CMS like WordPress to build up your web. You may use a lot of free template for WP around the internet for your website. However, with this way, you need to have some knoledage about html, and web development. So, if you know about html, you may use this way. Many others are using this way to build their website. 3. Give it to web designers. List all your requirement..and give it to web designers. they will help you build up your website very quickly. However, this way may cost you a little bit. Hope it may help!

For 99designs I have to say, as a competitor, I only join the high paid guaranteed contests. Even then, I only join contests that require as little work as possible, and allows me to use past logos that didn't make the cut. That's why nobody followed your brief. Chances are, they were just sending you recycled logos. Hey, we're not stupid. We're not going to custom design a logo for you with the chance that you'll not pay anyone and steal our ideas. The IDEA is what makes your logo awesome and memorable, not so much the design.

well! I think you should add a list of botton menu below the banner. by the way, I prefer to see more image in the homepage.

You may Google search for some collections. I usually do that for free image. Other way, that is you can find out some image providers. You will get many quality images there. However, you have to pay a little for that.

I think it's better for you to hire a designer to do that Job for you. However, as you said you are much more of a developer than designer, therefore, what you are doing is not really bad!

well! that's so easy... you may get an image on Google to say that Website is in contruction. and then upload it to your index file. WP plugin is another choice for you. however, I prefer to fist one, because you can get the image that you like. Justin from Minneapolis design

The same problem! However, I got the issue with title tags. If you search the keyword "web design quotes", this site http://www.proweb365.com/services will rank on top 10. However, the title that Google using is "Web Design Quote - Minneapolis Web Design"...I have never used this title on this page. So, I think the problem that is Google algorithm. Most of the time Google will read meta title, and meta description, and then show them to search result. However, in some case, I don't know how and why, Google take some text on body text to show in the description or title. Therefore, Don't worry about this. You may replace a new description in meta tags, and then wait for Google update. Besides, I saw that, event Google did dot take the correct title. However, my site still rank ok. I don't lost any ranking.
