  2. Can i just add i have worked in the IT industry for years and remote support was my main line of business (contract and full time employment)- a majority of computer related issues ARE fixed over the internet- its that simple.....i'm sorry if you find this hard to believe.... In my experience from a work/contract related point of view, if i was unable to resolve a computer problem remotely, then i would lose that customer and my job..its that simple There are many tools and skills to be had to resolve a computer problem over the internet- this saves both time and money. Now saying that, rebuilding a computer cannot be done over the internet! (microsoft and acronis image deployment for example can be done but not for the home user!) ...sometimes a computer rebuild is necessary and this is where the customer would need to seek help eslewhere.
  3. If you are all offended by the fact that we have used weebly to create our website, then just delete our post (forum admin) or dont reply. We read the forum rules and assumed it would be ok to post.
  4. Thanks Stevo for your reply- we have had quite a few remarks about the home page- too cowded, too little info, too much info, too much white, too little whiyte- the list goes on!!. We are trying to find a happy medium and have compared to other website offering similiar services but all have a differnet approach. We found organsing our home page the hardest to date. Our main colour scheme for the website was blue but had quite a few peoiple complain because it was blue!- we tried differnet shades etc but i guess we carnt please everyone all of the time. We may try to tone down the orange but wish to keep this colour so i guess back to trying find a happy medium again
  5. Company information can be found on the get support page and faq although i do agree, we need to place it somewhere it can be found more easily!. Unfortunatley we are not website pro designers and would rather have a quality remote support service than a flashy website with sub standard service. Our budget at the time didnt stretch to recruiting a web designer. I have asked for a review based on our current website building knowledge (none) and the tools that we have had to work with.
  6. If your refering to the live chat- this wouldnt be the norm - our main live chat operators wife has just been rushed to hospital! and i have stepped in short term until our other live chat operator goes online - i would rather have the live chat active today and not offline
  7. Good question- i'm working away today behind a proxy
