  1. Hello to all fellow members, I have just joined as a member today and looking forward to having a look round and getting to know some of you on here. I am sure I will be reading some very useful information from many of you. My internet involvement has developed over time and all the (very limited!) skills I have acquired have been self taught. No way am I an expert, hence recognising that joining a forum such as this will be of great benefit as I look to enhance new skills and look to develop my online business even more. Like many of us on here I have "got the bug" in hoping to make a meaningful career out of my website efforts. I have a regular, office bound job but I am looking to swap that for a more full-time internet career. I have about 38 websites that I have built to varying degrees of acceptability. Some of them are still very much a work in progress and as I am not an expert I do tend to take longer to do things that to some others will no doubt be quite basic tasks. Most of my websites are blogs or affiliate stores built from purchased software scripts. One thing I was considering and open to any suggestions about, is whether it is worth going on a website design college course or something like that (eg Computeach run a home-based course). The course would need to be part-time evenings as I do still work as I have already mentioned. Alternatively, is anyone of the opinion that you can learn all you need to learn here online. Does anyone know of or can recommend a good online tutorial course? A few of my websites are positioned on page one of Google for certain keywords which pleases me no end, but as I say, not being an expert, I am confused about all this Google Panda, Penguin or whatever the next animal is going to be when they decide to rewrite their algorithm. Knowing how to react to such changes is an entirely separate skill in it's own right. Creating website headers is another skill I am looking to improve on amongst several others. Anyway, I've rambled on enough. Hello again and I hope that I can be of help in any way I can if at all possible. Best regards Frank
