hi guys, thanks for the replies very helpfull! it is still really a work in progress by the looks i had thought maybe i would get away with as it is but your commetns have made me more determined to make this better. the lack of cricket feel is bothering me now i think i shall try the cricket ball ont he desk you mentioned (nothing speaks cricket more than a cricket ball!) the links will be styled i must have been lazy to think they would look ok on the site, also i did try using comic sans as the font for the site to keep with the hand written feel but was told it was spoiling the feel what would you suggest?

i have been thinking the same over the last few days myself. the idea behind the paper on the desk feel was the captain sitting at home with his bits and bobs on the desk picking his team (team sheet) i may play with the header and stick men cricket players, how else would you emphesise the cricekt feel?
