How to enlarge a section of an image through click
Hello all, I am looking for ways of enlarging a section of an image on click on a html page. The image itself ( example attached below) is of a map of the inhabitants of a housing block in a small village. As you can see, the image is pretty dense with information which doesn't make it very easy to read. Normally, if if wanted to enlarge an image, I would use prettyphoto or an equivalent. But in this case I do not want to enlarge the whole image but only a section of it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I have inserted the values that you mentioned into my form (see below) which now looks like you mentioned but it is still not including the option selected in the email. Does the php need to be slightly modified also to include the new values? <form class="form" id="form1"> <p class="name"> <input name="name" type="text" class="validate[required,custom[onlyLetter],length[0,100]] text-input" id="name" value="My Name" /> <label for="name">Your name</label> </p> <p class="email"> <input name="email" type="text" class="validate[required,custom[email]] text-input" id="email" value="email@email.com" /> <label for="email">E-mail</label> </p> <p class="web"> <input type="text" name="web" id="web" /> <label for="web">Telephone Number</label> </p> <p> <select name="Institution" id="Institution"> <option selected disabled>Please choose your status</option> <option value="Private Client">Private client</option> <option value="Institutional Client">Institutional client</option> </select> <label for="Institution" id="status">Status</label> </p> <p> <input type="text" name="specify" id="specify" /> <label for="specify">If Institutional please specify</label> </p> <p class="text"> <textarea name="text" class="validate[required,length[20,500]] text-input" id="comment">Please enter a description of the task</textarea> </p> <p class="submit"> <input type="submit" value="Send"><input type="reset" name="Reset" id="Reset" value="Reset" /> </p> </form> <?php $name = $_POST['name']; // contain name of person $email = $_POST['email']; // Email address of sender $web = $_POST['web']; // Your website URL $body = $_POST['text']; // Your message $institution = $_POST['institution']; $specify = $_POST['specify']; $receiver = "ismaakeel@gmail.com" ; // hardcorde your email address here - This is the email address that all your feedbacks will be sent to if (!empty($name) & !empty($email) && !empty($body)) { $body = "Name:{$name}\n\nEmail:{$email}\n\nWebsite :{$web}\n\nInstitution Type:{$institution}\nInstitution:{$specify}\n\nComments:{$body}"; $send = mail($receiver, 'Contact Form Submission', $body, "From: {$email}"); if ($send) { echo 'true'; //if everything is ok,always return true , else ajax submission won't work } }

Hello again, Firstly, thank you again for taking the time to help, Php is a scary thing for the likes of me.. I uploaded your code and it works well, I just slightly changed it to include the email following what you had done. The only issue now is in the section of the form that gives a drop down for the person to choose whether they are an institutional client or a private client as you see above. The mail is received with the category so its says "Institution type:" as you would expect, but it is not showing what option they choose. Are you able to see any reason why that is? <?php $name = $_POST['name']; // contain name of person $email = $_POST['email']; // Email address of sender $web = $_POST['web']; // Your website URL $body = $_POST['text']; // Your message $institution = $_POST['institution']; $specify = $_POST['specify']; $receiver = "ismaakeel@gmail.com" ; // hardcorde your email address here - This is the email address that all your feedbacks will be sent to if (!empty($name) & !empty($email) && !empty($body)) { $body = "Name:{$name}\n\nEmail:{$email}\n\nWebsite :{$web}\n\nInstitution Type:{$institution}\nInstitution:{$specify}\n\nComments:{$body}"; $send = mail($receiver, 'Contact Form Submission', $body, "From: {$email}"); if ($send) { echo 'true'; //if everything is ok,always return true , else ajax submission won't work } }

Adding to an existing Php script to allow more fields to be added to a contact form
Hello everyone, Working on my website (www.hatranslations.eu), I have added a contact form using an existing template. In the template, there were 4 categories : Name, Email, Website and message. I then added two categories which are a drop drown list for institution and a text field to enter the name of the institution they work for. Aiming to have Name, Email, Telephone, Institution drop down, Institution name if required and Message. The problem I am having is adding the new fields to the Php submit file so that when the form is sent my new categories are included. At the moment it only sends the original ones. I tried to amend the Php file but I just can't seem to be able to make it include them.. I would love some advice on this and have attached the form/html and php files to the topic. The php file is the original one untouched as my changes did not resolve the situation. Thanks in advance! Form code <div id="form-div"> <form class="form" id="form1"> <p class="name"> <input name="name" type="text" class="validate[required,custom[onlyLetter],length[0,100]] text-input" id="name" value="My Name" /> <label for="name">Your name</label> </p> <p class="email"> <input name="email" type="text" class="validate[required,custom[email]] text-input" id="email" value="email@email.com" /> <label for="email">E-mail</label> </p> <p class="web"> <input type="text" name="web" id="web" /> <label for="web">Telephone Number</label> </p> <p class="institution"> <select name="Institution" id="Institution"> <option>Please choose your status</option> <option>Private client</option> <option>Institutional client</option> </select> <label for="Institution" id="status">Status</label> </p> <p class="clientname"> <input type="text" name="specify" id="specify" /> <label for="specify">If Institutional please specify</label> </p> <p class="text"> <textarea name="text" class="validate[required,length[20,500]] text-input" id="comment">Please enter a description of the task</textarea> </p> <p class="submit"> <input type="submit" value="Send"><input type="reset" name="Reset" id="Reset" value="Reset" /> </p> </form> </div> Php code : <?php $name = $_POST['name']; // contain name of person $email = $_POST['email']; // Email address of sender $web = $_POST['web']; // Your website URL $body = $_POST['text']; // Your message $receiver = "ismaakeel@gmail.com" ; // hardcorde your email address here - This is the email address that all your feedbacks will be sent to if (!empty($name) & !empty($email) && !empty($body)) { $body = "Name:{$name}\n\nWebsite :{$web}\n\nComments:{$body}"; $send = mail($receiver, 'Contact Form Submission', $body, "From: {$email}"); if ($send) { echo 'true'; //if everything is ok,always return true , else ajax submission won't work } } ?> Formen.html ajaxSubmit.php

Website simple forum/message board
Hi Zed, Thank you for your answer this does seem to be exactly what I am looking for. After some searching, I could only seem to find some ready made ones which came at a fee (even if a small one), would you know of any free versions? H.

Website simple forum/message board
Hi all, First time poster so bear with me. I am looking for a simple message board to use on a site. The site does not require an actual forum as the activity will not be high enough to warrant it. What I am looking/hoping for is a simple message board, with which visitors could post a message without registering and said message would not appear on the page until it has been approved/moderated. I would greatly appreciate some advice as to whether this is even available/possible without visitors having to register. Many thanks, H.
