  1. Hi there, My website is www.lifetimewoodtreatment.co.uk I am just making some adjustments to my home page trying to snaz it up a bit. I have added some featured products pictures, not sure how this looks to others? am i on the right track? Thinking of adding a video or some kind of slide show or something too. What do you all think? Any feedback is much appreciated! Also, does anyone know why there are two little boxes next to my product pictures on the home page? thanks!
  2. Hey thanks for the advice guys. I'll work on some of that now. I didn't want to change the design too much because i thought it might freak out existing customers. I didn't design the original website myself Row: Which browser are you using where the text get centred?
  3. i checked it in safari and chrome and it looks fine. I would imagine it is an IE css issue. Which browser were you using when it looked disjointed?

Here is the code i am using: <p> <object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" width="720" height="480" hspace="29" id="FlashID" title="Welcome to The Organic Grow Shop, serving your organic fertiliser needs, from seed to harvest"> <param name="movie" value="slideshow1.swf" /> <param name="quality" value="high" /> <param name="wmode" value="opaque" /> <param name="expressinstall" value="Scripts/expressInstall.swf" /> <!-- Next object tag is for non-IE browsers. So hide it from IE using IECC. --> <!--[if !IE]>--> <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="slideshow1.swf" width="720" height="480"> <!--<![endif]--> <param name="quality" value="high" /> <param name="wmode" value="opaque" /> <param name="swfversion" value="6.0.65.0" /> <param name="expressinstall" value="Scripts/expressInstall.swf" /> <!-- The browser displays the following alternative content for users with Flash Player 6.0 and older. --> <div> <p><img src="/images/Alternatefrontpageimage.jpg" width="720" height="480" alt="Welcome to The Organic Grow Shop" title="buy organic fertilisers and soil conditioners" /></p> </div> <!--[if !IE]>--> </object> <!--<![endif]--> </object> </p> Cheers, hash

  8. Hi there, I'm looking to get some reviews for my website any ideas on anything else i should add or change? www.organicgrowshop.co.uk Cheers, Hash
  9. Ive narrowed the problem down to the javascript not loading for some reason...
  10. Hey kree8or, Thanks for taking a look at my site. I have been updating my menu bar to a spry menu because i am adding more products now and need this added functionality. Unfortunately i can't seem to get it to work on my template files. I have it working as i should on this page www.organicgrowshop.co.uk/email_form.php but on the other pages, when you hover the cursor over the drop down menu the sub menu does not appear! Do you know if this is a problem with the javascript or the CSS ? I can't figure it out!
  11. I've done a bit more investigation work with this and it seems like something must be missing when the .tpl file is compelling everything together. I have it working roughly as i want it to on a php page - www.organicgrowshop.co.uk/email_form.php I just can't figure out how the above code is different to that on the other pages. I have used the exact same code ???? Any help is much appreciated, this is driving me crazy!
  12. Ok, i think that maybe this is a CSS problem now....
  13. Hi there, I am trying to add a spry menu bar to my website www.organicgrowshop.co.uk my website uses smarty php templates. I have the menu working fine on a regular html page but it doesn't work when i transfer it to the .tpl file I have added in the relevant javascript. Can someone please take a look for me and see what i am missing? The menu is partly working but the submenus don't appear?? Thanks, Hash
  14. Hey everyone, Thanks for all the great advice! I have taken it all on board and have managed to implement a few of the suggestions in this thread. There's still a lot more id like to do though. Can you guys take another look at the site now, it's mainly just the home page I've worked on, and give it another review and throw out some more ideas? Cheers, Hash
