  1. Hello guys! My site's design is almost finished,but i have a problem separating the proper text content and the news content.I.ve got a bar that separates them at the moment,but i dont't know how long should i make it.If you have any suggestions,I'd be greatful.(the site's height is dynamic,depending on how much content i have---this is a problem,i think) Moreover,does the extending text look bad on the white background? MY SITE
  2. Thanks a lot!The scroolbar was solved by doing what you said and I just changed the position type of the flash content to relative and i could move it as i wanted.Thanks a lot,again!
  3. Hello guys! I've quickly designed a flash gallery and tried to integrate it within my site in my gallery page.However,I have encountered a few problems related to the position and I would really appreciate any help! Here is the site with the gallery:Gallery link If you manually zoom out you will see the whole site.I don't know for what reason there is no scrooling bar.Moreover I can't change the position of the flash gallery(only right/lef(middle not working)). Furthermore if you navigate to other page of the site,for example by pressing ACASA,the first button,you will see that the whole page under gallery(Foto)is not positioned as it should be,it moves slightly.You can also refresh quickly the Foto page and see that it moves slightly to the right. Here is the code for the flash gallery i added. <div id="content_wrap"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" lang="en" xml:lang="en"> <head> <title>Galerie</title> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <style type="text/css" media="screen"> html, body { height:100%;} body { margin:0; padding:0; overflow:hidden; } #flashContent { width:100%; height:100%; } </style> </head> <body> <div id="flashContent"> <object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="798" height="465" id="Galerie" align="middle"> <param name="movie" value="Galerie.swf" /> <param name="quality" value="high" /> <param name="bgcolor" value="#333333" /> <param name="play" value="true" /> <param name="loop" value="true" /> <param name="wmode" value="transparent" /> <param name="scale" value="showall" /> <param name="menu" value="true" /> <param name="devicefont" value="false" /> <param name="salign" value="" /> <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" /> <!--[if !IE]>--> <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="Galerie.swf" width="798" height="465"> <param name="movie" value="Galerie.swf" /> <param name="quality" value="high" /> <param name="bgcolor" value="#333333" /> <param name="play" value="true" /> <param name="loop" value="true" /> <param name="wmode" value="transparent" /> <param name="scale" value="showall" /> <param name="menu" value="true" /> <param name="devicefont" value="false" /> <param name="salign" value="" /> <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" /> <!--<![endif]--> <a href="http://www.adobe.com/go/getflash"> <img src="http://www.adobe.com/images/shared/download_buttons/get_flash_player.gif" alt="Get Adobe Flash player" /> </a> <!--[if !IE]>--> </object> <!--<![endif]--> </object> </div> </body> </html> </div> I have included this whole flash thing in the "content wrap" div,which starts right below the menu and ends right in front of the footer. Thank you in advance for your help! (I have also posted this under the flash section,wasn't sure which one was better,sorry if double post)

If anyone of you could help me,I'd be forever grateful.Thanks! here is the code of the div containing the shadow: #wrapper{ -moz-box-shadow: 0 0 35px #333000; -webkit-box-shadow: 0 0 35px #333000; box-shadow: 0 0 35px #333000; -ms-filter: "progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Shadow(Strength=8, Direction=135, Color='#333000')"; filter: progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Shadow(Strength=8, Direction=135, Color='#333000'); height:900px; width:960px; margin-left:auto; margin-right:auto; }

  10. Hello guys.What i want to do is to optimize my site's loading speed.So far,i have coded my site into 4 divs:header+left content+right content+footer.To each of these divs i gave a background image so that i assembled my site.What i want to know is if i have done it right.Im not looking for any pro method of doing it,just something simple,yet effective. I'd also be interested when going away from the home link,only the content to change and the header and footer remain the same,so that it wouldnt have to load again.Is it hard to implement that as i'm still a beginner? Would it be more effective if i would just crop the images i want to insert and make the background using a repeat:x with a 1 pixel wide part of the gradinet which will be the background? Here is a picture with the site,i'll upload the html version as soon as possible :SITE Thanks in advance for your answers!
