Im making a site and I want to know how to make a wordpress theme where its basically a banner, two advertisments on the sides and a flash game in the middle. OK so Im not totatlly sure where to start but I want to learn how to make websites like this: And when I say "websites like this" I mean like non boring craiglist type sites. I want to make graphic type sites like that one. I already know a little, very litte, html and stuff. I can register a domain, hosting install wordpress and manage it. I already have photoshop cs5. I know about tutsplus also. NOW THE QUESTIONS! 1. Where do I go to learn photoshop design tutorials on nits and bits. Not like using photoshop itself but doing things like making a page have a newspaper texture. 2. Can someone direct to some articles/books about learn css and html for websites and such. 3. Ok so I can follow a tutorial pretty good and I see in this one tutorial that you can make this: But once your done all you have is a psd file. How do you convert that into an actual wordpress theme? And how do I make it into a .html website if I dont want to use wordpress. 4. Ok so when you end up making a site that is in index.html format instead of wordpress how do you edit it and make posts and stuff. Like if I were to sell a site to someone and it was index.html format how would they manage it without using coding. 5. Where can I go to learn how to make cool graphics and designs. PLEASE dont tell me "use the search feature" I have already done this and Im doing this to answer the stuff I couldnt find. Thanks in advance!
