  1. what do you think of equity?

    There was a job listed on another developer forum, offering equity in exchange for developer time and effort - whats your thoughts on this? My opinion is that if you have the time to dedicate to it without it affecting your life and its all legal and above board then there is nothing to lose - most developers have the web skills to create business ideas but to successfully run a company takes an entirely different skill-set so teaming up with someone could work really well (its that age-old addage that its better to have 50% of something than 100% of nothing), but I know some people have a different view...
