Animation website needs reviewing please
Hi, I think i have issue with my website. www.beanboxanimation.co.uk 1) The website is video heavy. Is it too slow in your opinion? 2) Some ppl say they experience a "virus alert warning" but I have not expereince this (and have no knowledge of any virus). If this is the case, I need to know if anyone else is experiencing his warning. Many thanks for your review and any additional comments you may have. Ken

Animation website
Yeah, I thought of that too but then I don't know how to make the header continue infinitely left and right. Does that make sense? At the moment, I use a one pixel width orange strip and repeat it in the x-axis to make it infinite. Any ideas on how I can incorporate my logo into the head and still make it infinite???

Animation website
Yeah, that is what someone else said too so I will have to consider it. I was just being lazy using the same images. Each new image will require lots of time you see Yeah, I'm still undecided about this one. I wanted the buttons green so that they stand out from the rest of the site (being mostly orange and white). What do you other guys think about the green button? Work or not?? Not harsh!!! PURE GOLD so thanks for ya time!!!! I agree about the text. I want a really minimist site but for google ranking reasons, I have to put in lots of text saying things like animation, visualisation etc etc...and that is the other reason why I dont want too many flashy things (google cant understand flash elements). Most of the text isnt intended for people to read (but if they wanted to, it is still fine). I suspect most people will look at the top half of the home page, read one sentance or two then either leave the site or click the very obvious green button. If that is the case, then I have succeeded in my goal. I want a functional site rather than a pretty site (but if I had my way, I would choice pretty any day )

My first website, feedback needed
thanks for ya feedback. I understand that using tables is old school but what do ppl tend to use these days? Is it CSS? If so, how do you create "table" using CSS. Also, any advice for making the design more upto update? cheers

my portfolio
good start so far but i think it needs more work (sorry ) 1)each page seems to open to a new page. That annoys ppl like me. 2)James Portfolio text needs to be more pronounce. It looks almost like a background and is therefore lost. I assume u want this to be more prominant? 3)Contact form looks very basic and isnt layout with any thought. There is also a lot of white space which makes it look empty and unfinised. 4)The service page doesnt work for me either. It looks too basic and unprofessional. I think u need to lay it out more interstingly and attractively. 5)About me seems to be empty? 6)Like the portfolio page. Nice and cleam/simple to use. 7)Ya site, ya brand, seems very cluttered and gives the impresson of austerity (might have spelt that wrong--I mean poor looking). If this is the look ya going for then great. If not, ...sorry. I'm jsut thinking that ya customer will look at it and not get a sense of a professional service (even though u clearly can do good site e.g. call of duty looks great). Hope this helps

My new portfolio
First of all, ya obviously a good graphics designer. Ya work is really nice and clean. 1)I agree with the comment about the contact. This really needs to be a form cos everyone expects it. 2)I also agree with the fact that ya site looks more like a pdf more than a website. Nothing wrong with the look of it but it doesn't look like a professional site. I assume you want to sell ya services? If so, invest in some time to create a professional looking site. Turn the content of the pdf into html and make it look nice. I'm sure u wont have problems with making it look nice but i suspect u might have problem with the html side? It will be time consuming if ya new to html and css. 3)The work link doesnt work for me. 4)Ya home page is very nice. I wish I can create that kinda work but the page is very long. Very few ppl ever scroll down to the bottom. You can test ya site to find out how many ppl actually reach the bottom. I suspect not many. This is nothing to do with the quality of ya work, its jsut most ppl are lazy and wont bother. I recommend you break up the work into manageable sizes. Either reduce the amount of each work or span each work over several links. Hope this helps.

My first website, feedback needed
Hi all, hope ya all well. This is my first website so I really don't have a clue ! Trying to get my head around CSS and html. The code is no where near perfect but it SEEMS to be working fine. Can I ask for your opinions on my website. Please be as ruthless as you like (I can't find out where you live ) regarding the layout and graphics on my site. Many thanks in advance. My site is: beanboxanimation.co.uk
