Hi guys,
Got a client that want a new training website set up for flight sim pilots. The concept is that pilots log on to the website using their login credentials, and can view several areas to the website. The main areas are:
- Flight plans database
(query form where they put in the origin, destination, etc... and the query returns a list of flight plans that are relevant to their input)
- Online training videos library
(pilots select the aircraft they want to view training videos for, and then choose the video they want to watch)
- Forum
(small forum for discussing flight sim technical issues, tips for flying, etc...)
- Contact form
(for contacting the admin team)
- some form of online chat
(something along the lines of facebook chat)
- Profile pages
(similar to the facebook profile page, where you have info, image galleries/albums, videos, etc...)
So my question is do I go with a CMS or do I opt for a social networking script such as SocialEngine (http://www.socialengine.net/)?
Thanks for your help guys,
Sunny
